The escarpment overlooking our campsite at Estes Park.
I wouldn't really call it "Roughing it" but hell, it's my kind of camping!
The severe clear sky over Estes Park (August 13, 2010) twas a long, 10 minute exposure. If you look closely (lower portion of the image) you can see the strobe trail of a passing aircraft.
A 7 minute exposure of our surrounding campsite area... the streak of waving light is of a person strolling down the path from the restrooms with a flashlight.
A shorter 5 minute exposure taken toward the west. The light on the trees is a function of various campfires.
A longer 12+ minute exposure taken toward the Northeast. The north star is hidden behind the tall pine tree on the left.
Perspective panoramic of the Estes Park views. Looking east-ish.
Panoramic of the mountains visible from our campsite, just after dawn, looking north.

A panoramic view from a meadow near our campsite. Taken shortly after sunrise, looking east-northeast to north (left side of image).
